Extrusion Line of PE Pipe process flow

2023-12-18

Extrusion Line of PE pipe is a commonly used process for producing PE pipes. The following is the general extrusion line of PE pipe process flow:

Raw material preparation: First, polyethylene (PE) particles need to be prepared as raw materials. These particles are usually screened, dried, etc. to ensure that their quality and dryness meet the requirements.

Raw material feeding: The processed PE particles are fed into the extruder through the feeding system.

Extruder heating and melting: The extruder will heat and melt the PE pellets to form PE plastic in a molten state.

Die extrusion: The molten PE plastic passes through the die and forms tubular products of corresponding specifications through the die of the die. The design of the die determines the outer diameter and wall thickness of the PE pipe.

Cooling and solidification: The extruded PE pipe will pass through the cooling device after the die exit, and it will quickly cool down and solidify through cooling.

Cutting and size control: The cured PE pipe will be cut by a cutting machine to the required length. At the same time, size control will also be carried out to ensure that the outer diameter, wall thickness and other dimensions of the PE pipe meet the requirements.

Inspection and quality control: Corresponding inspection devices will be set up in the production line to inspect the appearance, size, physical properties, etc. of PE pipes, and conduct quality control to ensure that product quality meets standard requirements.

Packaging and storage: PE pipes that pass the test will be packaged. Common packaging methods include winding packaging and linear packaging, and then marked and numbered. Finally, the PE pipe is stored or transported to its destination.

It should be noted that extrusion line of PE pipe with different specifications and requirements may have some differences, and the specific process flow needs to be determined based on the actual situation and the configuration of the production line equipment.
